I love old Acacias

We're out at the old Friends of the Library building down a long dirt road behind the H C & S Sugar Mill in Puunene, Maui.
It is a quiet step back in time.
Old buildings sit quietly among old monkey pod trees and the smell of molasses is in the air. It's just about lunch hour with not a person in sight.
It feels so nice to think of a simpler time...
Its a hot, dry day...
Under the shade of this acacia I imagine workers having their midday meal and talking story in the soft breeze. Quiet... Slow... Easy kine days... When life was less complicated.

Old Maui must have been so nice. We can only hear the stories of the Old Plantation Days..

Time to go...

Back to reality... Pick up the pace..
Go take care of business, pay bills,
go walmart for supplies...

Enjoyed these few quiet moments...
