Huichol Indian Art

If you have never seen the Huichol Indian Yarn paintings before you would be so amazed at theses works of art.
Using brightly colored yarns, almost fluorescent they create the art by spreading hot beeswax on a board, sketch the design and press the yarn into the wax. They are known to be Peyote induced visions. hallucinogenic cactus plant in their isolated area of Mexico.

These yarn paintings were at #ChristmasHouseMaui last night.

This appears to be a night time vision.

They're amazing creations.
