We had a wonderful group tour of Ho'okipa, Up-Country Maui, through Pineapple Country, Kula, Ulupalakua, Maui's Winery, Rice Park for our picnic lunch was awesome. Everyone loved their sandwiches prepared by Whole Foods Maui.
Ricky cut starfruit and we offered fresh greens and fruits gifted by @KulaFields Roxanne Tiffin. Thank you, Roxanne.

Pomai Weigert and Kenoi from AKL Lavender Farm http://akllavender.com joined us for lunch then everyone proceeded to the Lavender Farm for a "personalized" walking tour with Pomai. She told the story of the Lavender Farm and Ali'i Chang's legacy. The "Celebration" of his life will be this Saturday, July 9th, 2011 from 9-2PM

I also offered Maui Macaroons by Lori Steer, (berry white chocolate) which were a big hit! http://MauiMacaroons.com

For the finale we traveled down the country road to Surfing Goat Dairy and had a delightful tour by Nalana, feeding goats and observing the milking, pasteurization room, and the cheese aging process.
Then we sampled a beautiful long platter of over ten gourmet goat cheeses. Mandalay (apple banana and curry) and Men's Challenge (with horseradish) were my favorites!

Everyone loved our adventure. We took lots of pictures and special prizes were given to a few of our guests.
Each person received a set of Amaryllis of Hawaii books by Marilyn Jansen and a Coffee sleeve by @TikiTales.

It was a very special maiden voyage. This was the deluxe Photo Farm Tour so Digital Postcards will be created for each guest...

Thanks everyone for your support and enthusiasm about the tours. Concierges started calling yesterday in response to the mailings I sent out.

If you want to take a fun, educational country tour with a local Maui boy and artist, gardener, author Marilyn (That's me) CALL us at 808 283-9131 to book your whole family or group of seven.

Aloha,

Marilyn Jansen Lopes
